Father Pedro Arrupe SJ is now Servant of God

The Jesuit Superior General has announced today that the "cause" for the beatification of Pedro Arrupe, SJ (Jesuit General 1965-83 and founder of Jesuit Refugee Service) has been opened by the Vicariate of Rome. Today is the birthday of Pedro Arrupe SJ. And today is also the 38th Jesuit Refugees Service founded by the beloved father Pedro Arrupe SJ.
