Love always wins!

Last 29th of April, 30th of April and the 1st of May there was Pietre Vive International Formation Meeting in Lisbon. I couldn't attend with my body in presence but I could attend online on the 30th of April & the 1st of May. The 1st of May I had a bad pain caused by circumstances that here it's not possible to recount and I also had a big joy in the same day. God is caring my wounds . I learnt so many things through what I could watch on Zoom & I am learning by this bad situation too.All that I can testimony is that God's Mercy prevails & we can do whatever we want & then? God's Will is better than my will, world will, people will. Be also realist: this is my reality there are people who are using marriage, having children and job to make bad to me,to fight against me, to destroy  me, to make me suffer... but now with God's help I just want to live and being fully alive. Please pray for these enemies because these enemies are people who are near me. I can't stop staying with them. Where I live it's my home and I can't leave this home. So, please help me with your prayers. Don't say that you can't help. You can help with your prayers. Thank you.

End war now!

#Fermatevi #stopwar #Ukraine #peace #PrayforPeace #letpeoplecelebratetheirreligionsfeasts
These are the holiest days of the year for Christians.
Please stop war now & don't continue again: Let Orthodox & other Christians denominations celebrate in peace Holy Week, Easter & Divine Mercy Sunday. Actually for some Christans denominations is already Easter this coming Sunday & the 24th of April the Divine Mercy Sunday. For other denominations is Easter Sunday on April 24th and Divine Mercy Sunday 1st of May. For Jewish people is Jewish Easter.  Muslims are still celebrating their Ramadan & on 30th of April is Kaylat al-Qadr. So please stop this terrible and bad war that is ruining people lives. Stop Putin's war. Shame on UN who isn't helping Ukrainian people with peace soldiers. Please stop war and let people live always happy and healthy.

Pain... Gratitude... Life

Pain is different from a person to another one. You could be sure to understand my pain. And I could be sure to understand your pain. But my pain is my pain & your pain is yours. What people can do it's just to listen to & love to each others. Many suggestions (good suggestions  too) could be only more painful.

I believe in God & I use to go to Church. I am sure I am beloved God's child. I also know atheist people who are bringing God's blessings to other people lives even if they are sure God doesn't exist.

During my life I often receive more encouragement from atheist people than people who consider themselves believers & then they don't like refugees, LGBT people, who are sure we don't need medical care because we already have God's healing, sex & erotic relationships are evil.. This is not religion because God is Love. And Love is effortful and inclusive.

I enjoy looking the moon and the sky. It reminds me to be grateful for the gift of life.

Life can be hard but life is wonderful and we never have to stop to enjoy life as much as possible.

Enjoy Life - Rest in peace Thomas

"I think each person (me too) should be more greatful and we have to enjoy life as much as we can. Nobody knows the time of his/her death. Health is very important. I had blood cancer and I know what does  it mean to have health or not,but life can be enjoyable in each moment even without health (This is my experience)
Rest in peace Thomas."

"All of us are called by and to grace, but few of us choose to listen to the call."

From The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck:
<<Christ's  assertion  "Many  are  called, but  few  are  chosen"  I  would  trans-late  to  mean  "All  of  us are  called  by  and  to  grace,  but  few  of  us  choose  to  listen to  the  call.">>

Seafarers are our heroes. Please make a donation for these people who risks their lives across the oceans and seas of the world

Here's a message from Bishop Paul Mason, our Bishop Promoter for England & Wales ahead of Sea Sunday this Sunday 20th December. Please do read it. Now more than ever we need to let seafarers know that they are not forgotten.
+++++++

What did you have for breakfast this morning? A banana? A cup of tea or coffee?

I ask this because it highlights one of the remarkable aspects of the crisis that has gripped us this year. The global trade of goods has continued virtually unaffected. Food continues to arrive in our kitchens from all around the world. Not to mention medicine, medical equipment and any number of other items.

In fact, 90% of the products in our shops and homes have arrived here by sea and have been brought to us by seafarers. These hardworking men and women who crew container ships, oil tankers, fishing vessels and transporters are among the true frontline heroes of 2020. On Sea Sunday this Sunday (December 20th), we thank God for them, just as we clapped for carers back in the Spring .

But in the coming week, many seafarers face a miserable, lonely Christmas, thousands of miles away from their families. Right now, around 400,000 seafarers are stranded around the world because of the pandemic. National quarantine rules, airline cancellations and ongoing disruption mean they cannot return home. Many have had their contracts extended again and again, and some have not seen their families for up to a year. Seafarers are exhausted and anxious.

This is a humanitarian crisis, but few outside the maritime sector know about it. As we reflect upon the Nativity scene in the crib, let us remember that some seafarers will miss the birth of their child while stranded at sea this Christmas time. Like all of us, they just  want to be with their loved ones for Christmas.

This Sea Sunday, I hope you will join with us at Stella Maris to make Christmas special for stranded seafarers.

Here's how you can help please.
At Stella Maris, we have chaplains and volunteers working in ports up and down the country and across the world. This week - even on Christmas Day - they will be out, as usual, visiting seafarers on the gangway or dockside. They will (safely) hand out small gifts and provide vital pastoral care. They will provide welfare packages of food and toiletries and faith resources: rosaries, Bibles and prayer books. And they will make videos of Gospel readings and email them out to crews stuck onboard ships.

But all this can only happen with your support. Today, please, will you do two things?

Firstly, please remember seafarers in your prayers. Thank God for them and the vital role they play in all our lives, often working in difficult and hazardous conditions and harsh w eat her.

Secondly, please could you give a donation? Your gift will help seafarers who are stranded and who won't see their families this Christmas. It will show your appreciation for these often-forgotten key workers. And your support will be a generous expression of God's love. You can donate in one of three ways:
• use the giving envelope provided in churches where available
• text SEA to 70460 to donate £5
• give via the website: www.stellamaris.org.uk/donate

Thank you so much for playing a part this Sea Sunday. We are very grateful for all your support.
Bishop Paul Mason,
Bishop Promoter for Stella Maris in England & Wales.

A Young Adult Prayer

A Young Adult Prayer

In the noise of the city, bring us peace.
When things don’t make sense,
  give us meaning.
When we’ve lost our way,
point us in the right direction.
When it’s tough to be Christian,
shine your light in our lives.
When we’re alone,
give us courage to make friends.
When careers take over,
help bring perspective to our lives.
When we meet injustice,
inspire us to do what we should.
When life is full,
help us focus on what’s important.
When love is difficult,
  break our hearts of stone.
When we ask,
give us hearts for love alone.  Amen

Happy feast of St Francis Xavier and Happy birthday to the Pope's worldwide prayer network

Today is also the 176th Birthday of Pope's worldwide prayer network (which includes EYM). During the first Vespers of St Francis Xavier SJ Feast a group of Jesuits seminarists were inspired of doing something for spreading the Good News of The Gospel through prayer. Here a video with the history of Pope's worldwide prayer network

St Francis Xavier  SJ is the patron Saint of Missions with St Therese of Lisieux and the patron saint of Pope's worldwide prayer network and EYM.

Happy feast of *St Edmund Campion SJ* (1540-1581)

Happy feast of *St Edmund Campion SJ* (1540-1581)

Edmund Campion was born in London on January 25, 1540, received his early education at Christ’s Hospital, and, as the best of the London scholars, was chosen aged thirteen to make the complimentary speech when Queen Mary visited the city. He then attended St John’s College, Oxford, becoming a fellow in 1557 and taking the Oath of Supremacy on the occasion of his degree in 1564. Two years later he welcomed Queen Elizabeth to the university, and won her lasting regard. He was chosen amongst the scholars to lead a public debate in front of the queen. People were now talking of Campion in terms of being a future Archbishop of Canterbury, in the newly established Church of England. Although holding Catholic doctrines, reinforced by his reading of the early Fathers, he received deacon’s orders in the Anglican Church. Inwardly “he took a remorse of conscience and detestation of mind.” Eventually he went to Douai where he was reconciled to the Catholic Church and received the Eucharist that he had denied himself for the last twelve years. The college was a centre of intellectual excellence and Campion found himself reunited with many of his former Oxford friends. His studies completed he left for Rome, travelling on foot and alone in the guise of a poor pilgrim. He then entered a novitiate with the Jesuits, and spent some years in Vienna and Prague.
In 1580, the Jesuit mission to England began. Campion entered England in the guise of a jewel merchant, and at once began to preach. His presence soon became known to the authorities, not least because of the challenge he made, known as the “Challenge to the Privy Council” to his allies and as “Campion’s Brag” to his enemies. As a result his position became increasingly difficult. He led a hunted life, preaching and ministering to Catholics in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Lancashire. On his way to Norfolk, he stopped at Lyford, near Wantage, where he celebrated Mass and preached both on July 14 and on the following day. Here after a long search he was found in hiding above the gateway. He was taken to London with his arms pinioned and bearing on his hat a paper with the inscription, “Campion, the Seditious Jesuit.” Committed to the Tower of London, he was questioned in the presence (it is said) of Elizabeth, who asked him if he acknowledged her to be the true Queen of England. He replied in the affirmative, and she offered him wealth and dignities, but on condition of rejecting his Catholic faith, which he refused to do.
He was kept a long time in prison, where he was twice racked, and every effort was made to shake his defiance. He took part in a number of public debates and reportedly conducted himself so easily and readily that he won the admiration of most of the audience. He was indicted at Westminster on a charge of having conspired, along with others, in Rome and Reims to ‘raise a sedition in the realm’ and dethrone the Queen. He was sentenced to death as a traitor. He answered: “In condemning us, you condemn all your own ancestors, all our ancient bishops and kings, all that was once the glory of England — the island of saints, and the most devoted child of the See of Peter.” After spending his last days in prayer he was led with two companions to Tyburn and hanged, drawn and quartered on December 1, 1581, aged 41.

We confuse love with a feeling because we love cathecting with loving. Cathecting doesn't imply the spiritual growth of the cathected object

We confuse love with a feeling because we love cathecting with loving. Cathecting doesn't imply the spiritual growth of the cathected object
M.Scott Peck weites
"Two  strangers  may  meet  in  a  bar  and  cathect  each  other  in such   a   way   that   nothing-not   previously   scheduled appointments,  promises  made,  or  family  stability-is  more important  for  the  moment  than  their  sexual  consummation. Immediately  following  their  sexual  consummation  the  justmentioned  couple  may  find  each  other  unattractive  and undesirable.  We  may  decathect  something  almost  as  soon  as we  have  cathected  it." (From The Road Less Traveled by M Scott Peck)

Love is not simply giving...

"Love  is  not  simply  giving;  it  is  judicious giving   and  judicious  withholding  as  well.  It  is  judicious praising   and  judicious  criticizing.  It  is  judicious  arguing, struggling,   con-fronting,   urging,   pushing   and   pulling   in addition  to  comforting.  It  is  leadership.  The  word  "judicious" means  requiring  judgment,  and  judgment  requires  more than   instinct;   it   requires   thoughtful   and   often   painful decision-making." (By M. Scott Peck The Road Less Traveled)

About being Thankful

"Why,  he  had  once  wondered,  would  a  perfect  God  create  the universe?  To  be  generous  with  it,  he  believed  now.  For  the  pleasure  of seeing  pure  gifts  appreciated.  Maybe  that's  what  it  meant  to  find  God:  to see  what  you  have  been  given,  to  know  divine  generosity,  to  appreciate the large things  and the small  . . . Dedicated to María Esther & Ivette

I love Maria and I want she is always happy and healthy. I never wanted to change her or to decide for her life. Why did she write friendly and lovely words and then bad things? Everybody does mistakes, I do my mistakes too. And everyone learns from these mistakes. Me too. The fact is that Maria easily misunderstand. Speaking clear about something is just speaking clear about it, not judging anyone. E.g. If you tell me that you have eaten pizza and with pizza you took 2 alcoholic beers (Exist the beer without alcohol too) and then you have stomach cramps and I tell you that it's better don't drink alcoholic beverages because alcohol is too dangerous for human health : I am not judging you but just saying what the science says about alcoholic drinks. And Maria felt judged by me instead. This is only one of the examples I could write. Another problem is Telegram. She felt I wanted to change her life just because I posted the reportage about Telegram. The journalists did a great job and they found out that ISIS, Narcos , Pedophiles, criminals organisation and many others criminals, scammers, cyber criminals, are using Telegram. So, I just ask her why she was so much enthusiastic about Telegram but she never answered why she is too happy about Telegram if she has something with Telegram... The fact is this: She is pro democracy and she has left Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and so she uses Telegram. What's the point? Each app we are using has his problems. We all know what Facebook did with data. But Telegram is dangerous and more dangerous. We know what Facebook did but we also can denounce it and Facebook has closed many Facebook pages e.g. the pages of the nazi skin organisation, new fascism. We can denounce and police can close Facebook pages, profiles,Instagram profiles,WhatsApp profiles, etc... E.g. here in Italy the police had closed a WhatsApp group with children abused pictures. We report something that isn't good on Instagram and Instagram will respond even closing that account. People have reported the Telegram criminals profiles and that criminals are still using Telegram. So, if we have to or if we want to use Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and others app for our communications, for things we are interested in, we can use any of that apps. We can continue to use. But being proud, enthusiastic, happy, about these apps isn't good because we all know the dark side of these apps. Maria doesn't want understand this about Telegram. She has misunderstood. She doesn't want to know and she doesn't want to understand. And she has changed the point, thinking I was writing and posting against her. But I was just posting news about the dark side of Telegram instead. Maria has written me very bad message. Maria has blocked me. What I still don't understand is why she wrote friendly messages and then she wrote hate messages... Maria is worldwide known for her kindness. She has been kind with the entire world except me. People know I am kind with everyone. The difference is that I am kind with Maria. And I love Maria and I forgive her. She has wasted everything. She has wasted all the beautiful things and conversations we have had. Maria needs a person that could help her understand that she doesn't have to have the same behaviour she had with me. She has to understand that differences are richness. If we are different is better. It is almost impossible that all the person have the same points of view, like the same things, but we all in our differences can be kind and love each others. The only thing that matter is LOVE. Ivette has to take care of Maria and I think she is already doing this. They have been blessed by the life for have finding each others and being married. I forgive Maria as I forgive everyone had bad behaviour with me. God is merciful and He wants us all living in the Jurusalem Eternal City. God wants that the hell is without any person there. God wants everybody in the Jerusalem Eternal City. Maria can block me on the social networks, but she won't be able to block me when in the future we will be all together with God.
